After the mid-term elections in America, the results continue to come in. A tough competition is being seen between the parties of former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden for control over the American Parliament i.e. Congress.
While the counting of votes continues, the Republican Party has won the majority in the House of Representatives, but the battle for the Senate continues.
The Democrats have won the important seat of the Senate in Pennsylvania, but the competition in the remaining two seats is very close and the election in one seat may drag on until next month.
The economy and abortion are the biggest issues among voters.
However, it was expected that the Republican Party would benefit in the mid-term elections, but the ‘wave’ of the party is not visible in the results.
