Indian Cricketers Sport New Jerseys Designed by adidas
HYDERABAD: Prominent Indian cricket stars such as Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur, Virat Kohli, Smriti Mandhana, and others were spotted wearing the latest jerseys created by renowned sportswear brand adidas.
In a video shared on the official Instagram accounts of adidas India and the Indian Cricket Team, the players can be seen showcasing three distinct jerseys tailored for each format—ODIs, T20Is, and Tests.
The grand unveiling of the jerseys took place at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. The Indian team will proudly don these jerseys during the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup ’23, scheduled to be held in India from October to November.
Furthermore, Team India will don the white jersey for the highly anticipated ICC World Test Championship final against Australia, commencing on June 7.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has forged a new partnership with adidas, appointing them as the exclusive kit sponsor. The agreement, extending until March 2028, grants adidas sole rights to manufacture kits for all cricket formats. adidas will serve as the primary supplier of match, training, and travel wear for the BCCI, covering the men’s, women’s, and youth teams.
