‘People ran towards Twitter’ when WhatsApp was down, said- ‘I can live without it’

In many countries around the world, the instant messaging app WhatsApp was not working for about two hours on Tuesday.

In many cities of India, people started complaining about WhatsApp not working around 12.30 pm, after which a statement was issued by the company.

A spokesperson for Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, said, “We are aware that some people are having trouble messaging through WhatsApp and we are trying to resolve this issue. We are trying to do that as soon as possible.” Maybe it can be fixed.”

On the instant communication app, this problem was there on both personal chats and group chats. WhatsApp users were neither able to send messages in any group nor were able to send messages to anyone privately.

After this, WhatsApp continued to trend on other social media for a long time. Twitter people shared many memes related to it. More than 1.5 lakh tweets were made with the hashtag #whatsappdown.
