Microsoft Enhances Bing Chatbot with Voice Chat Capability on Desktop

Microsoft’s AI-powered chatbot, Bing, has introduced voice chat support for desktop users as well, according to an announcement by the tech giant.

The feature is currently available in English, French, German, Japanese, and Mandarin, with plans to add more languages in the future.

Previously, the voice chat mode was only accessible for users of the AI chatbot on Microsoft’s Edge web browser. However, with this update, desktop users can now enjoy the convenience of using voice chat directly on the browser.

To utilize the feature, users simply need to click on the microphone icon located in Bing’s chat box. Upon clicking, a prompt will appear requesting microphone access. After granting permission, users can seamlessly interact with Bing by speaking or typing their queries, receiving quick responses in seconds.

This update reflects Microsoft’s commitment to improving user experience and responsiveness based on customer feedback.
