Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked in a shocking incident at his Bandra residence in Mumbai during a late-night burglary attempt.
The 54-year-old star suffered six stab wounds, including a serious injury near his spine. He was quickly taken to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery and is now said to be out of danger.

One of the wounds was perilously close to his spine. Saif’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, rushed him to Lilavati Hospital immediately after the incident.
Doctors at Lilavati Hospital confirmed that Saif underwent both neurosurgery and plastic surgery to address his injuries. A 2.5-inch piece of knife was successfully removed from his thoracic spinal cord during the operation.
The actor is currently in stable condition and remains under observation in the ICU.
