boris johnson or rishi sunak, how will the next prime minister of britain be decided

Rishi Sunak was in the race for leadership even six weeks ago.

After the resignation of British Prime Minister Liz Truss on Thursday, Sunak is again being told in the race for the post of Prime Minister of Britain.

Meanwhile, there is a lot of discussion in the political corridors that former Prime Minister Boris Johnson can also return to the post.

Although Jeremy Hunt’s name also surfaced, he refused to join the race for leadership.

Meanwhile, Penny Mordont has officially presented her candidacy for the race for the post of Prime Minister of Britain. She had also participated in the previous race, but failed.

Rishi Sunak vs Boris Johnson this time?

Rishi Sunak hails from the city of Southampton, UK.

There his acquaintances are very excited that he can become the next Prime Minister of the country. Sanjay Chandrana, the president of the city’s temple where Rishi Sunak goes, told BBC Hindi that there is enthusiasm among the people.

He says, “Everyone I talk to in my circle wants Rishi to become the Prime Minister. Based on the economic policies and stability that the country needs right now, Rishi Sunak has a good chance of becoming the Prime Minister.”

The reality is that the ruling Conservative Party is now deeply divided, says senior London-based journalist Prasoon Sonwalkar.

He says, “There are MPs in the party who want to bring Boris Johnson back, some other MPs say that if Boris returns, he will resign.”

Rishi Sunak, 42, was the Finance Minister of the country till July this year. Only after his resignation, there was a rebellion in the party against the then Prime Minister Boris Johnson and many ministers resigned from their posts.

After his resignation, Boris Johnson also had to step down from the post of Prime Minister. In the race for the leadership that lasted for several weeks, party MPs elected Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss for the post of Prime Minister.

More than 1 lakh 60 thousand members of the party had to choose between these two. Liz Truss gained the support of more members and became Prime Minister, and Sunak was defeated.

However, in view of the economic crisis of Britain, many MPs still want to see Rishi Sunak on the post of Prime Minister.

Liz Truss had made many promises like reducing taxes and stabilizing gas prices, about which Rishi Sunak warned that these steps would put the country in a big economic crisis.

Rishi Sunak’s warning proved to be true?
Sanjay Chandrana, who recently spent a long time with Rishi Sunak at the Temple in Southampton, tells the BBC that Rishi Sunak’s warning about Liz Truss’s financial moves has now proved to be correct.

He says, “The sage Liz Truss was right about the dreams he had about economic policies. His words proved to be true. These policies proved fatal for the country. High inflation, high interest rates, a weakening pound and The condition of people not being able to pay their debts, all this is the result of this.”

He goes on to say, “Two things came out in the open between Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak. Rishi Sunak had the support of most of the party’s MPs and the younger generation of party members were with him.

But within the party, the old Conservative ideology is in the majority who preferred a lease truss over Rishi Sunak.”

Naresh Sonchatla, who knew Rishi Sunak from Southampton, says that he is confident that Rishi Sunak will be the prime ministerial candidate again this time.

He says, “As far as I know Rishi has the full support of the cabinet, the country is with him. Speculators are also predicting Rishi Sunak to become the prime minister.

Personally, I support her and pray to God to correct Liz Truss’s mistakes so that with strong leadership, our economy can get back on track.”
