Breaking: Real Madrid Completes Signing of Jude Bellingham in Landmark Transfer

Real Madrid has reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to secure the signing of England midfielder Jude Bellingham for a fee of 103 million euros (£88.5 million).

At the age of 19, Bellingham, who previously played for Birmingham City before joining Dortmund in July 2020, showcased exceptional performances during the World Cup last year.

Expressing his desire for the move, Bellingham is scheduled to undergo a medical examination in the coming days. Upon completion, he will sign a six-year contract with Real Madrid.

Dortmund has officially confirmed that the Spanish club will pay 103 million euros, with potential additional payments included in the agreement. If these add-ons are fulfilled, the total value of the deal could reach 133.9 million euros (£115 million).

Several top European clubs, including Manchester City and Liverpool, expressed interest in acquiring Bellingham, who is poised to become the third-most expensive teenager in history.

As the Bundesliga’s player of the season, Bellingham will also become the second-most expensive English footballer ever and Real Madrid’s second-costliest signing, following Eden Hazard’s 115 million euro transfer from Chelsea in 2019.
