Donald Trump continues rant about legal issues even on Christmas

Instead of spreading holiday cheer, the former US president, Donald Trump, opted for a Christmas rant on social media. During Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Trump used his platform to express resentment and vitriol, primarily focusing on his legal issues. This holiday-season tirade hints at a potentially polarizing and self-serving strategy he might employ in the upcoming 2024 election year, according to CNN.

In a series of tweets, Trump addressed various grievances, including allegations of spying on his campaign, deception before Congress, manipulation of the FISA process, claims of a rigged presidential election, and criticism of the handling of issues like immigration and Afghanistan. He also voiced concerns about perceived persecution and election interference.

One notable point of contention was Trump’s disapproval of a Colorado ruling that disqualified him from the race, dismissing it as “political delusion” and attributing it to “crazed Radical Left Lunatics.”

Despite spending a significant portion of the day discussing the 2024 presidential election and his legal challenges, Trump later shared a video compilation of his past presidential Christmas speeches on Christmas morning.

The former president is set to face four criminal trials with a total of 91 felony counts in the coming year, coinciding with the presidential campaign season. Trump’s legal team has been actively seeking to delay or dismiss these cases. Recently, they requested an appeals court to dismiss a 2020 federal election interference case against him, citing presidential immunity grounds.
