Record Label Drops Jimmie Allen Amid Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Country music artist Jimmie Allen has faced a major setback as his record label, BBR Music Group, announced their decision to sever ties with him in the wake of sexual misconduct allegations.

BBR Music Group, renowned for representing notable artists like Jason Aldean, Lainey Wilson, Chase Rice, and Jelly Roll, confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Jimmie Allen is no longer an active artist on their roster. The label issued a statement stating, “BBR Music Group has terminated its professional relationship with Jimmie Allen.”

As a reflection of this decision, Jimmie Allen’s name has been removed from the talent roster on BBR Music Group’s official website.

The controversy unfolded when Allen’s former manager filed a lawsuit against him, accusing him of assault and sexual harassment. Allen has vehemently denied these allegations, asserting that he and his former manager engaged in a consensual relationship during the relevant period.

In a statement provided to Us Weekly through his attorney, Andrew B. Brettler, Allen acknowledged the existence of a sexual relationship lasting nearly two years but emphasized that his former manager had never accused him of any wrongdoing during that time. Allen raised concerns about her motives, claiming that she only hired a lawyer and made monetary demands after their relationship ended. He expressed his intention to vigorously defend himself against the allegations and take all necessary legal action to protect his reputation.

In a public apology posted on his social media, the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ alum confirmed his extramarital affair with his former manager, admitting his infidelity to his then-wife, Alexis Gale. Allen expressed deep remorse for the humiliation he caused his wife and acknowledged the shame he brought upon her. He pledged to work on becoming a better person and father, striving to set a positive example for his children.

Jimmie Allen, who is a father to his eight-year-old son Aadyn from a previous relationship and shares two daughters, Naomi (3) and Zara (19 months), with Alexis Gale, had announced their separation in April. Despite their personal circumstances, they emphasized their commitment to prioritize the well-being and happiness of their children.

In a recent update, it has come to light that Allen faces a second lawsuit from an anonymous woman who alleges that she was sexually assaulted and secretly recorded by Allen in July 2022. Jimmie Allen has yet to address these new legal proceedings.
